Dr. James “Matthew” Rhinewalt, MD, is a board-certified internist and pediatrician at Internal Medicine & Pediatric Clinic in New Albany, Mississippi.
Dr. Rhinewalt graduated from Mississippi University for Women with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. He went on to attend medical school at the University of Mississippi School of Medicine, and completed his residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. He also completed a fellowship in palliative medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Dr. Rhinewalt stays up to date with advanced credentialing and is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and the American Board of Internal Medicine.
He offers pediatric and adult wellness visits, sports physicals and immunizations.
When he’s away from the office, Dr. Rhinewalt enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, and completing home improvement projects. He is currently accepting new patients.
