Dr. Eric Harding, MD, is a board-certified internist and pediatrician who has been caring for patients of all ages in New Albany since 1995. He earned his medical degree and completed his residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine.
A decade later, Dr. Harding opened the Internal Medicine & Pediatric Clinic (IM&PC) of New Albany with a mission to provide comprehensive care from birth through adulthood, with a strong emphasis on wellness and disease prevention. Patients seeking physicals, sick visits, wellness checks, or chronic disease management turn to Dr. Harding’s practice. He is board-certified by both the American Board of Pediatrics and the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Outside of his medical practice, Dr. Harding enjoys spending time with his wife and their four children. His favorite pastimes include water skiing, hunting, and fishing.

Dr. Michael “Shane” Scott, DO, is a New Albany native and a board-certified physician in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. He earned his medical degree from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of Tennessee in Memphis. Since 2004, he has been serving patients at Internal Medicine & Pediatric Clinic (IM&PC).
Dr. Scott is known for taking the time to learn each patient’s story and framing their care in that context. He has extensive experience caring for pediatric patients with complex medical, psychological, and educational needs, while also providing thorough care for adults with both routine and complex conditions in outpatient and hospital settings.
Outside of his medical practice, Dr. Scott enjoys spending time with his wife and their four children. His favorite pastimes include traveling, watching college football, and participating in evangelical medical mission trips.

Matt Rhinewalt, MD

Dr. James “Matthew” Rhinewalt, MD, is a board-certified internist and pediatrician at Internal Medicine & Pediatric Clinic (IM&PC) in Saltillo, Mississippi. He earned his bachelor’s degree in nursing from Mississippi University for Women, attended medical school at the University of Mississippi School of Medicine, and completed his residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
In addition, Dr. Rhinewalt completed a fellowship in palliative medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He is certified by both the American Board of Pediatrics and the American Board of Internal Medicine and provides a full range of services including pediatric and adult wellness visits, sports physicals, and immunizations.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Rhinewalt enjoys spending time with his wife and their two sons. He also likes working on home improvement projects and staying active with family life.

Dr. Paige Tomsic, DO, is a native of Holly Springs, MS, and a board-certified physician who provides care for patients of all ages. She attended the Edward Via Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Spartanburg, SC, and completed her residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of Tennessee in Memphis.
Dr. Tomsic is passionate about offering well-rounded, personalized care to children and adults, with a focus on long-term wellness and preventative health. She is committed to building strong relationships with families and serving patients with compassion.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Tomsic enjoys spending time with her husband, Brendan, and their three children—Declan, Cooper, and their daughter. She loves watching sports, traveling, and has participated in mission trips to Nicaragua and Honduras, with hopes of continuing international mission work in the future.

Adam Coombs, MD

Dr. Adam Coombs, MD, is a New Albany native who is board-certified in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. After attending Mississippi State University, he completed his medical degree and residency training at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS, before joining Internal Medicine & Pediatric Clinic (IM&PC) in 2023.
Dr. Coombs is passionate about providing thorough, quality care for patients of all ages while building lasting and meaningful relationships with families. His approach to medicine is guided by faith, with a strong commitment to serving his community for God’s glory.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Coombs enjoys spending time with his wife, Abbey, and their two sons, David and Andrew. He is an active member of Hillcrest Baptist Church and loves playing tennis and golf, working outdoors, and traveling with his family.

Griffin Metcalf, MD

Dr. S. Griffin Metcalf, MD, was born in Millington, TN, and raised in Rolling Forks, MS, where he completed his high school education. He went on to study Biological Medical Sciences at Mississippi College, where he also excelled as team captain of the men’s Track & Field and Cross Country teams.
During his time at Mississippi College, Dr. Metcalf met his wife, Sallie, and they have been married since 2017. Together they are raising two young boys, Walker and Jack, and enjoy being active as a family in their community.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Metcalf enjoys playing tennis, grilling out, watching college sports, and working on his lawn. His favorite family pastime is taking beach trips with Sallie and their two sons.

Jackson Browning, MD

Dr. Jackson Browning, MD, is a proud New Albany native who brings a strong academic and clinical background to Internal Medicine & Pediatric Clinic (IM&PC). He earned his bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Mississippi, followed by a master’s in biomedical science and medical degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center, where he also completed his residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics.
Dr. Browning gained early experience working in a well-respected physiology lab during his graduate studies, which deepened his interest in comprehensive patient care. He is passionate about helping patients of all ages achieve their best health and is committed to delivering personalized, compassionate care.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Browning enjoys traveling, reading, and turkey hunting. He treasures time spent with his wife, Leslie, and their young daughter, often making family the center of his free time.

Kathleen “Katie” Minga, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant who provides care for patients of all ages. She earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) from Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona, before moving to Mississippi in 2016.
Katie focuses on building strong patient relationships while promoting wellness and preventing disease through a holistic approach to care. She works under the supervision of board-certified physicians as part of a highly regarded medical team recognized as one of the top-performing practices for internal medicine and pediatrics in the Southeast.
Outside of her professional role, Katie enjoys spending time with her husband and their three children. She loves cooking, hiking, traveling, and is an active member of her church, with hopes of participating in medical missions in the future.

Terri Pounders, FNP-BC, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner who provides care for patients from infancy through adulthood. She earned her master’s degree in nursing from Vanderbilt University in Nashville and later completed a post-master’s certificate in family practice at Mississippi University for Women.
Terri has been working in pediatrics since 2002, with a passion for helping children and supporting families through every stage of life. She is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and works alongside board-certified physicians as part of a medical team recognized as one of the top-performing practices in the Southeast.
In her free time, Terri enjoys spending time with her husband and their four children. She also loves traveling, gardening, reading, and serving with her husband in youth ministry at their church.

Ashley Nanney, FNP-C

Ashley Nanney, FNP, is a family nurse practitioner originally from Hickory Flats, MS, and now living in Ripley. She earned her RN from Northeast Mississippi Community College in 2013, her BSN from Mississippi University for Women, and later completed her Family Nurse Practitioner training at the University of North Alabama.
With over 10 years of experience as a pediatric nurse, Ashley has developed a strong passion for caring for children while also enjoying the opportunity to serve patients of all ages. She is dedicated to providing compassionate, comprehensive care and values the relationships she builds with patients and families at Internal Medicine & Pediatric Clinic (IM&PC).
Outside of her work, Ashley is a proud wife and mother of five, including two sets of twins and an older daughter. She enjoys playing volleyball, spending time on the golf course, relaxing by the pool, and making the most of family time.

Katrina Frields, FNP-C

Katrina Watkins Frields, FNP-C, is a Family Nurse Practitioner with more than 15 years of experience, with a prior additional 24 years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse. Her diverse background includes Family Medicine, Urgent Care, Urology, and Pain Management, allowing her to care for patients with a broad range of health needs.
Katrina earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Mississippi University for Women in 2010. Throughout her career, she has remained committed to lifelong learning and compassionate, patient-centered care. She values building genuine relationships with her patients and considers it a privilege to walk alongside them in their healthcare journeys.
Outside of the clinic, Katrina enjoys spending time with her husband, Tim Frields, her two sons and their families, and her two grandsons, Hudson and Hayes. Family and faith is central to her life and strongly influences her approach to caring for others.
Katrina is grateful for the opportunity to serve patients in the Saltillo and Tupelo communities. She is currently practicing at our Saltillo location and is happily accepting new patients. She looks forward to meeting you and providing thoughtful, attentive care.

Kimberly Swinney, MSN, APRN, FNP-C is a Family Nurse Practitioner from Booneville, Mississippi. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University in Downers Grove, Illinois. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Kimberly spent nine years working as a Registered Nurse, gaining valuable experience in Pediatrics, Critical Care, Primary Care, and Long-Term Care.
Kimberly is passionate about providing compassionate, patient-centered care and building lasting relationships with her patients and their families. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys spending quality time with her family—especially her son, who keeps her busy and smiling. Kimberly is now seeing patients at our Saltillo location and is currently accepting new patients.

Breanna Davis, FNP-C

Breanna is a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of North Alabama and previously completed her associate degree at Northeast Mississippi Community College and her bachelor’s degree at Mississippi University for Women.
With nearly five years of nursing experience, Breanna has cared for patients in inpatient acute care, medical-surgical units, urgent care, and a variety of clinic settings including family/internal medicine, women’s health, pediatrics, pulmonary, and cardiology. She is passionate about delivering high-quality, compassionate care and strives to make every patient feel heard and supported.
Breanna is from Booneville, MS, and has been married to her husband, Austin, for almost five years. They have a four-year-old Great Dane named Bo. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, crafting and crocheting, and traveling with her husband—especially for side-by-side and ATV adventures.

Katie Sanders, DNP, FNP-BC, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). She earned her undergraduate nursing degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson and completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2024.
With over four years of experience as a bedside nurse, Katie brings a strong foundation in acute care to her role as a nurse practitioner. She is dedicated to providing comprehensive, high-quality care for patients of all ages and is passionate about helping families achieve their best health.
Katie lives in Saltillo with her family and their two dogs, Koda and Leela. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, attending Ole Miss sporting events, shopping, and spending quality time with loved ones.
Katie is excited to offer compassionate care to both children and adults.

Taylor Lunn, CPNP-PC

Taylor Lunn, MSN, PNP-C, is a board-certified pediatric nurse practitioner through the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board (PNCB). She earned her bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from Mississippi State University in 2017, completed her undergraduate nursing degree at Mississippi University for Women in 2019, and went on to receive her master’s degree as a pediatric nurse practitioner from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Taylor provides care for patients from birth through age 21, with a strong focus on preventative care, patient education, and nutrition. With 4.5 years of experience in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) at UAB and in pediatric primary care as a nurse practitioner, she brings valuable expertise to her role at Internal Medicine & Pediatric Clinic (IM&PC).
Outside of her professional work, Taylor enjoys life in Pontotoc with her husband and two children. She spends her free time with family, attending church, cheering on Mississippi State football, and has a heart for international service, having participated in a mission trip to Honduras with plans for more in the future.

Mary Benavidez, PNP-C

Mary Benavidez, MSN, PNP-C is a board-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner through the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board with 27 years of experience caring for children. She began her nursing career after graduating from Itawamba Community College and went on to earn her bachelor’s degree from Mississippi University for Women and her master’s degree from University of Mississippi Medical Center.
Mary has extensive experience working in both the pediatric inpatient unit and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at NMMC. She provides care for patients from birth through age 17, with a strong focus on preventive care, patient education, and nutrition. Her compassion, experience, and dedication make her a wonderful addition to our team and an incredible advocate for the families we serve.
Mary lives in Tupelo with her husband and two children. In her free time, she enjoys binge-watching her favorite shows, loves all things supernatural, and especially enjoys decorating for Halloween and the spooky season!
